Description: This is the FINAL workshop in the Art Quilt series. In this one-day class, you will learn the first steps in turning an inspirational original photograph into fabric art using simple techniques. You will explore picture composition and how to give your selection perspective and depth. You will learn to proportionately enlarge your drawing and prepare your templates for your fabric art piece. We will also discuss other helpful techniques that can be used to expedite the process for creating a successful art-quilt. Each student will bring a number of simple photographs such as a landscape, still life, flowers, etc. Please bring nature pictures only, no animals or people.

Class Class Duration: One session of 6 hours.

Pre-requisites: You must have taken the Beginning an Art Quilt Top class from Grace Errea.
