Description: If color is important, value is the key to creating exceptional art quilts. This workshop focuses on the important tools for creating inspirational botanicals, landscapes, and portraits. It will provide an over view of color harmony, color theory, the psychology of color and the expressive aspects of color and value.

Then we will focus on Value. Students will see value and color in a new way. You will learn how to create Grace’s “Periodic Table of Value and Color” - a "must have" tool for all art quilters! As part of the required class materials, Grace provides a kit containing the fabrics for an 8-value grey scale to get started and color copies of the Periodic Table to be used as reference. Kit fee payable to teacher: $10.00.

Class Class Duration: One session of 6 hours.

Size: 3 - 20

Pre-requisites: This class is open to quilters of all experience levels.
