Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

Mark your calendars! The San Diego Cruisin' Quilters Quilt Run is fast approaching! There are 19 participating shops this year and you'll have 8 days, from March 1st through March 8th, to visit them with all shops having extended hours. We'll have a free give-away to all passport holders and several specials ... more details will be coming later this month!

We've been getting more questions about whether our classrooms are available for meetings and get-togethers. You bet! If you have a group of friends who like to get together periodically to quilt or sew, or want to get away and "hang with the gang", just fill out our short online form. We have all the amenities including a cutting table and ironing board for your use, not to mention a full-size refrigerator, toaster oven and microwave.

Who says bling is only for rappers and the glamorous? Suzanne Wenzlick, a talented local artist, has created an ever-growing collection of, well, Quilter's Bling that's sure to accent whatever you choose to wear! Complementing our ever-popular scissor charms and bookmarks, we now have distinctive necklaces, key chains and earrings - your only task is to find the one that says "you"! And be sure to check our Featured Items page for Valentine's Day fabric and the newly arrived "Tulip Time" and "Southwest Batiks" fabric lines.

As to classes, can you believe we're adding a third Palomar college class? Demand was so great for the first day of Wendy Mathson's Palomar college class for beginning quilters that we've added another session of this class on Mondays from 1 - 4 pm starting on February 18th. There's plenty of room ... all you have to do is show up on either Monday (starting February 18th) or on Tuesday from 1 - 4.

And, if you want a relaxing and fun night out, our ever-popular Pizza at Paradise class is Friday, February 15th. You can either work on a block that we have kitted already for you, or enjoy working on your own project!
