Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

Spring training is over and America's favorite pastime (quilting, not baseball!) is now in full-swing. In celebration of the season's start, we'd like you to sing along with us:

And with the start of a new season, we have a new lineup of classes this month that you're sure to score a hit with! Leading off is Hunter Star with Berit Hokanson followed by Beginning Quilting with Macy Silveria. Next up is Fat Quarter Fun with Sharon Wilhite, and batting cleanup we have a special treat for you. I don't know about you, but just like trying to figure out what a baseball player is worth, I sometimes wonder what determines how much a quilt is worth, or why one quilt is worth more than another, or how much that quilt my great grandmother made is worth. Come find out! We're extremely pleased to have Julia Zgliniec, a highly-experienced and certified Quilt Appraiser by the American Quilter's Society, come to our shop and give you the "inside skinny" on these questions - and more! Her talk on Quilt Appraisal is only $10, so you won't want to miss out! Rounding out the lineup, demand was so great for Macy's Mile a Minute Quilt Technique class that we're offering a double-header with a repeat of the class.

We hear from many of you (tongue-in-cheek) that when you're buying fabric in the shop, you're being "b-a-a-a-d". Well, that word got us to thinking and we are "gla-a-a-d" to be offering 100% hand-dyed wool from Blackberry Primitives! Perfect for appliqué, they'll "a-a-a-dd" depth and texture to your creations!

For the book lovers and readers among you, we've increased our selection of books and magazines.
