Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

Want a fast and easy way to lose up to 30 pounds? You can - and help us celebrate Earth Day 2008 at the same time which is next Tuesday, April 22nd. Starting Friday evening (we're open until midnight since it's Pizza at Paradise with yours truly) through close of business next Tuesday, bring fabric you won't sorely miss to our shop. We'll donate them to several charitable organizations and you'll receive credit toward future purchases at the shop! For every pound of fabric you donate, you'll receive a Quilter's Paradise Dollar ... up to 30 total and good for 30 days. The "new you" will feel great ... just remember these 4 C's:

  1. Clean - you'll be "spring cleaning" to help get your sewing and storage areas in tip top shape!
  2. Conserve - your donations will avoid a possible possible ill-fated trip to a landfill!
  3. Charity - your donations will be made into beautiful quilts for those in need!
  4. Credit - you'll receive credit for your contribution!
Note: please bring only quilt-quality fabrics with a minimum size of a fat quarter. No batting, corduroy, etc.

Looking ahead, we'll have a booth at the Del Mar Quilt, Craft & Sewing Festival on May 8 - 10. This is a really fun show where you can find some cool stuff and not feel lost in a huge convention center! Print the coupon in this email as many times as you like and save half the price of admission (a $4 savings on each coupon!).

There's still room in some of our classes this month ... A week from Friday, we have an informative evening out with Julia Zgliniec giving a talk on Quilt Appraisal. This comes complete with some munchies and you get our standard 15% off non-sale merchandise for attending a class! And completing our lineup for April, we have Beginning Quilting with Macy Silveria, Fat Quarter Fun with Sharon Wilhite, and Mile a Minute Quilt Technique with Macy Silveria.
