Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

It seems the economic news we've been hearing of late has been sobering to say the least. And, the bailout bill that passed not too long ago contained all sorts of "goodies" for various special interests. The good news is that nearly all of us have been through tough times before and everyone I've talked with at the shop and at guild meetings and events seems to be in good spirits. (We quilters are a resilient bunch!)

Recognizing that we all need to stretch our dollars - especially as the holidays approach - we, at Quilter's Paradise, are offering our own economic stimulus package to the best special interest group there is: quilters!! From Saturday, November 1st through Sunday November 2nd*, our fabric motto will be: "The more you buy the more you save!" For non-sale fabric, when you buy for a single item:

	1 - 1 7/8 yards ...	you save 10%!				*We're extending our hours on Sunday, November 2nd and will be open from 11 - 5. Don't forget ... Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 2nd at 2 a.m. and you'll need to set your clocks 1 hour back.
	2 - 2 7/8 yards ...	you save 20%!
	3+ yards ...	you save 30%!

When hearing about my fabric sales plan, my husband, Mark, said that no self-respecting stimulus package would be complete without something extra. So, I listened to him and added this "earmark" (groan!): you get 25% off one additional non-sale, non-bolt fabric item (e.g., notion, book, magazine, thread, pattern, fat quarter, etc.). Sorry, no rain checks.

From what we've been hearing from many of you, you're making more quilts, items and gifts for the holiday season as part of helping make your dollar go further. I encourage you to browse through our calendar and list of classes where you'll find many holiday oriented classes. Of note, due to popular demand, we've added another session of each of these classes: Christmas Tree Skirt, Quilt As You Go Table Runner, and City Bag - Towne Purse. And, we just added Wendy's Easy Piecing, No-Fuss Wreath. Don't forget - in addition to having fun, you'll enjoy 15% off all non-sale merchandise on class day!!

More good news ... this year, we've increased our capacity to Longarm quilts and have been steadily cranking them out for the usual busy holiday season. So, for those of you who need their quilts Longarm'ed, our current turnaround time is only 2 weeks for non-custom, all-over stitching designs! I encourage you to get your quilts in as soon as possible as turnaround times do vary based on demand and the holidays are fast approaching.

Just arrived ... we're one of the very first quilt shops to have the entire line of Nancy Halvorsen's Cider Mill Road from Benartex complete with 5-inch charm packs and fat quarters! Also in is the Gotham fabric line also from Benartex, some stunning Asian-style fabrics, as well as more flannels, Batiks (of course!), and more!
