Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

Thanksgiving is nearly here and I want to start out by wishing every one of you a safe and joyous holiday with family and friends. Despite the tough times we're going through right now, we have so much to be thankful for and I am especially grateful to all of you.

Time is getting short until Christmas, but as I mentioned in my last newsletter, Santa's helpers have been busy here at Quilter's Paradise making inexpensive and easy-to-make items. In addition to creating more of our standard and Ready-to-Piece!^TM kits, we've added several panels that you can easily embellish with borders in no time at all to create beautfiul holiday wall hangings. And, as you prepare your shopping list, I wanted to make sure that you know that we do offer Gift Certificates (that you can get at the shop or order online and we'll mail to you) and we do ship.

If you have a quilt to be quilted, don't fret ... there's still time! As long as all you need is an "all over" design (and not something custom), we can get your quilt done within 2 weeks. If you're in a jam and need it done sooner, give us a call and we'll see if we can help you out.

And what's a holiday season without something special? We are now placing a coupon on our web site. Just print the coupon and bring it to the shop. Keep checking our web site as we'll be creating new specials periodically!

Looking for a little "escape" and fun from the hectic holiday season? Then join us for our annual Holiday Party on Saturday, December 6th from 10:30 - 1:00. There'll be a pot luck, an optional gift exchange and plenty of fun and good cheer! My husband, Mark (aka Mr. Excitement), will, among other things, regale with you "You know you're in trouble at the quilt shop when ...". If you plan to come, please be sure to read the party description for details. As for classes ... due to popular demand, Wendy Mathson is having another session of her Easy Piecing, No-Fuss Wreath class and Sharon Wilhite is conducting Kaleidoscope Block Rock in which you may work on any of her kaleidoscope block patterns - whether you're starting a quilt or in the middle of one.

Please note that we will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving. But we will be open both Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving for all you holiday shoppers!
