Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!
I want to thank all of you who came out for the 2009 Cruisin' Quilters Quilt Run earlier this month!
Over 1,300 runners came through the shop
(which was slightly higher than last year!)
and everyone seemed to have a great time!
It was great to see so many of you and
I'm pleased to announce the winners of the drawing for our shop:

and, again, many thanks to all the runners!
Many of you have been asking ...
and I'm pleased to announce that it's time once again for our bi-annual
Cash for Stash event!!
Partly in celebration of Earth Day which occurs next month on April 22nd,
it will be held from Saturday, April 18th through Saturday, April 25th.
During that time, bring your fabric scraps into our shop
and you'll get one Quilter's Paradise dollar for every pound of fabric scraps up to 30 pounds.
You may then spend your Quilter's Paradise dollars for any merchandise in the shop.
We will donate the fabric scraps to several local organizations who make charity quilts.
(Please note that we ask that donated scraps be approximately fat quarter size or larger.)
We received over 1,200 pounds of fabric
during our previous Cash for Stash event last September,
so make cleaning up your stash part of your "Spring Cleaning" and help us out!
There's still room to participate in
internationally known quilt author, designer and instructor Jan Krentz's
one-day workshop from her new book, called
Quick Harbor Lights.
You have a choice of attending either Friday, March 27th or Sunday, March 29th,
but sign up quick as these dates are fast approaching!
Lots of bright, beautiful fabric has been coming in nearly every day,
and for you jelly roll fans, you've got to see the latest from Moda:
a box consisting of two HoneyBunsTM.
Each HoneyBun contains 10 1-1/2 inch strips
and the box contains a pattern to make a Sweet Treat Bag.
And the other thing I want to tell you is that due to popular demand
we now carry

This 50 weight polyester thread is perfect for quilting and sewing
and comes in 50 luscious colors!
They say that "the only constant is change"
and that's certainly true of our list of classes.
Our teachers keep coming up with new and fun ideas and projects,
and we're welcoming back two outstanding teachers, Betty Alofs and Kay Lettington:
