It's July already and I'm excited to tell you about all the wonderful things we've got in store for you! The 2009 Southern California Quilt Run is only a week away on July 9 - 12 and July 16 - 19. Come out to see what all the shops have and be sure to get your passport stamped so you're eligible for all the great prizes!

If you're a Batik lover, July is the month for you! To start off, we are displaying 16 gorgeous quilts from the Robert Kaufman Artisan Batik trunk show. With quilt names including Woven Geoscapes, Curvalishish and Arizona Skies, you're sure to be inspired by the diverse creativity of these quilts. And you can put that creativity to good use because due to arrive any day now are 50 more bolts of Batiks. (Yes, my husband, Mark, told me to go on another Batik Buying Binge!) And finally, you'll definitely want to check out and use this month's coupon!

Our class schedule has been updated through August with some brand new classes you won't find just anywhere including: Drunkard's Path Made Simple, Scissor Fob and Pincushion, Holiday Gift Box, and Smocking Sit and Sew. And, we're introducing Mary Lou Rankin, a well-known designer and educator and creator of the Park Bench Pattern Company, to the shop. She will be teaching a series of interesting clothing design and sewing classes. (Go to the classes page and sort the class list by teacher.)
