Hello, my Quilters in Paradise!

Can you believe ... Christmas is almost here! If you're looking for a last-minute gift, stocking stuffer or gift certificate for that someone special, we'll be open to help you until 3 p.m. Christmas Eve. (On Christmas Eve, you may want to read the classic 'Twas the Night Before Quilting.) And, if you're making plans to take advantage of all those post-Christmas Day sales when all kinds of stuff gets marked down, be sure to include our shop as you make the rounds. From Sunday, December 26th through Friday, December 31st, all of our Christmas and holiday fabric, fat quarters and panels will be 40% off (1 yard minimum on fabric)!

Because San Diego has a large military and defense community, we're always getting requests for armed forces fabric. We've got just the thing with the "Patriots" line from Robert Kaufman - there are bolts for the Marines, Army, Navy and Air Force!

Please note that we will be closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day and closing early at 3:00 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. As your thoughts turn to the New Year, please take a look at our calendar and classes. As I mentioned in our last newsletter, with the 50+ fusible appliqué laser-cut kits we've produced so far and by popular request, we've added a Raw Edge Machine Appliqué Basics class in which you'll learn how to do raw edge machine appliqué.

In closing, I want to thank all of you for your generous support and friendship. Having a quilt shop has been a dream come true and I hope that we have been able to bring a piece of "paradise" to you.
