CutRite^TM Sewing Machine Seam Guide

This is an indispensible and handy tool for anyone who sews with a sewing machine. Use it to position your machine's needle exactly where you need it as well as to check the accuracy of your needle's position. You can position your needle perfectly for a scant 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" seam. It has a ruler with markings to 1/8" and the 45-degree end is very useful when piecing your binding strips together.

To use the seam guide, simply place it under your machine's foot so that the ruler side edge of the guide is aligned with the right edge of the foot. Adjust your needle so that when the needle is lowered, it goes through the hole for the seam size that you want.

Nine Patch blocks are one of the most popular and versatile blocks in a quilter's repertoire. However, a key challenge in making them has been that to divide your starting squares into thirds requires math and measuring. (Quick: what's 8 divided by 3? And guess what? You won't find the answer of 2-2/3 anywhere on a ruler since rulers don't measure thirds of an inch.) Why limit yourself to only those small number of sizes where division by 3 is easy?

With the CutRite Nine Patch Ruler, no math and no measuring is required! So, you can now make any finished nine patch block size from 3-1/2 inches to 9 inches! All those 5-inch charm packs and 10-inch layer cakes become perfect candidates for nine patch blocks. Acrylic Square Templates

There are a few common acrylic square template sizes that are readily available. However, trying to find one that isn't so common is difficult and, often, expensive. No problem! With our laser cutter, we can cut any sizes from 1-1/2 inches to 17-1/2 inches in 1/2-inch increments. These templates are cut from clear acrylic and, for a small amount more, you may order a template with a hole cut into it for hanging on a pegboard and/or crosshairs etched onto it. Regardless of what you order, the size of the template etched is etched onto the upper right hand corner.

Acrylic Purse and Bag Bottoms

Acrylic plastic makes for a perfect purse, bag or tote bottom - they're lightweight, have rounded corners and only 1/8" thick, yet are very sturdy, waterproof and won't crack! In fact, larger sizes are perfect for backpacks, gym, duffel, diaper, book and travel bags! Why mess around with cardboard or foam board that isn't up to the task, or wait for someone to cut a bottom out of wood? Optionally cover the acrylic bottom with fabric and place in the bottom of your bag ... or, create a fabric sleeve, tack it to the inside bottom of your bag and insert the acrylic bottom into the sleeve.

We laser-cut the acrylic bottoms to whatever size you want up to 12" x 24" - so virtually any bag can be accommodated! Just select the dimensions you want from the drop-down menus below and click on the "Calculate Price" button to see what the price is. For those of you using a Lazy Girl Designs pattern, the table on the left gives the standard Bag-E-Bottom sizes. Please note that the color of the acrylic used varies.
