Wendy's Tree Skirt by Wendy Mathson
This quilt-as-you-go project can be elegant,
“Christmassy” or country/folksy,
depending on your choice of fabrics.
Eight panels are made as individual quilted units, quilt as you go-style.
The panels are joined with narrow strips on front and back,
then finished with bias binding on the outer edges.
Everything can be done by machine.
Tree skirt finishes about 60" across, to the outer points, and can be easily enlarged or reduced.
