Strip Calculator

The Strip Calculator calculates how much yardage is needed given the strip width and the number of strips. It can also calculate how many strips you get from a specified amount of fabric and given the strip width. To use the calculator, enter the strip width and then either the number of strips or the yardage. Then click the Calculate button. The calculator will calculate the value for the unfilled fields.

Please note that the calculator assumes that the fabric strips are cut in the direction of the width of fabric (which is normally about 44 inches for quilting fabric).

CutRiteTM Bind Up

The best selling solution to finish your binding! With it, you can join the two ends of the binding strip with a perfect mitred seam fast and easy ... with no measuring required! And, unlike other solutions, it works on all binding strip widths.

Enter the strip width and then either the number of strips or the yardage. For the yardage, you may enter any of the following 3 fields: yards (decimal form), yards (fractional form) or inches. Then click on the Calculate button and the values in the other fields will be calculated for you.
